This work's idea comes from Chinese New Year. All materials that I use are Chinese traditional stuffs. This year is a pig year, so I use paper cutting pig as my object. When people play fireworks and strike drums, the pig changes to red which hope everyone can enjoy the new year. Also, everyone must be very stressful and depressed after hard work or study in the last year, and then on new years day, people will become full of energy and ready for the coming year. So that's why I use color of pig in dark and let the pig face down first, and then, when new year festival coming, the pig turn red and face up.
